What is self-care?

In simple words, self-care means taking care of yourself. Without anybody's help. Self-care is the individual practice of health management without the aid of a medical professional. In health care, self-care is any human regulatory function that is under individual control, deliberate and self-initiated, for the purpose of the maintenance of health and wellbeing.

Why is self-care important?

Self-care is important to have a beautiful relationship with yourself. Taking care of yourself not only helps you grow a beautiful relationship with your self it helps to boost your self-esteem and confidence. Also, self-care is necessary to remind yourself and others that you and your needs are important too.



How should you start self-care?

You need to take care of yourself in two ways first physically second mentally.


*Physically taking care of yourself

-exercise (at least 5 days a week )                     

-drink water 

-have a skincare routine 

-bath every day 

- brush twice a day 

-try to wake up early

-have complete sleep 

- eat healthy food





*Mentally taking care of yourself

-Read self-development books 

-try to capture knowledge from every small thing

-find positivity in every aspect of life

-keep green plants around for mental peace

- take breaks ( you deserve it) 

-breath deeply

-spend quality time with your loved ones once 

- don't use social media in the mornings 

- always believe in yourself 

-meditate 



Girls and boys, it's not selfish to take care of yourself it's important so please don't feel hesitant to take care of yourself. Remember at the end of the day you will only have yourself with you so please take care of yourself and love yourself .
